How the studies connect
All three are human studies of fermented red ginseng. They addressed free fatty acids, depression measures and glucose metabolism respectively, but share a design feature: the outcome and the mediating pathway were measured together.
| Year | Journal | Subject | Mediating pathway |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2013 | Journal of Medicinal Food | Glucose metabolism | Hormonal interaction (multiple group path analysis) |
| 2014 | Journal of Ginseng Research | Free fatty acid regulation | Hormones and the autonomic nervous system |
| 2014 | Nutritional Neuroscience | Depression measures | Lipids |
